Free dental care

Adolescents - 13 - 17 years old

Adolescents can receive free dental care up until they turn 18. You are still eligible if you are not at school as long as you are under the age of 18.  The free dental care includes the following services:

  • A yearly check-up and clean (x-rays as well, if necessary)
  • Dental treatment such as fillings, root canals, fluoride applications fissure sealants and extractions (but no orthodontic extractions)

Please note there are certain treatments that will not be covered (e.g. cosmetics, orthodontics and any orthodontics related treatment).

Under 13 years old

Under 13 are seen by the school dental. However, they can be seen at our practice for free due to the following situations:

  • Referred school dental
  • When there is an emergency and they could not reach the school dental. Parents must attempt to contact the school dental first.
